DVS Mentorship Goals

1. Storytelling. Get better at telling succinct, compelling, useful stories with data by creating at least 1 longer, multi viz piece and 1 one-page viz piece
2. Data Viz + Art. Create 1 viz that incorporates strong artistic elements.
3. Start Portfolio. Publish 3 pieces to tableau public to start portfolio
4. Learn Tableau. Create 3 data visualization dashboards using Tableau
5. Develop Process: define key points/choices/steps that I can use for every data viz.
6. Networking! Track progress in blog, post final Viz pieces to social media, reach out to people who’s work I admire. Curate data viz that inspires me or contains elements I want to emulate
